It’s amazing how good the iPhone 4S camera is.
I would carry my DSLR around with me for everyday use, but it’s just so heavy. Of course I’ll use it at events and functions, but for everyday life, the iPhone is good enough.
I told them to stand there and to fake laugh so I can capture a fake, hipster moment. But this moment is so not fake. In the process of telling them to fake laugh, Leslie, the one on the left, told a joke and Necole found it very funny! And that’s the moment captured. A real laughing picture.
I used photoshop to desaturate the image and change the hue and vibrance. The strokes are from one of the lovely camera apps from the iPhone. And the text and opaque black box was done in illustrator.
Work time: One hour.
Enjoy!
Preview of an invitation I am designing for a graduation party next month!
Just another late night design for one of my classes. And this will be published and working next week! After sketching and sketching and coding and coding, and many many mess ups, I am finally on the right track with this site and excited to finish and show everyone!
Just wanted to do some late night designing. And I did a lot of arrangements on this one. What to put on top, how to arrange and align it. What to put on the bottom, whether or not it should be broken up into two lines, whether or not something should be there, or on top. There was just a lot of moving around, deleting and undeleting. And in the end, this was the best result I came up with.
Programs used: InDesign CS5, Photoshop CS5.
Work time: One hour. (Super quickie.)
(Plus I did this because I’m going to Walk for Life in ten hours so I just wanted to let the world know that I am going and that we really should pray for an end to abortion. And that life is precious from conception to natural death.)
